Is there something you’ve been dying to know about me and just haven’t had the courage to ask? Well, here’s your chance! I’m inviting you!
I’ve been wanting to do an “ask me” post for a while now but just never really got around to it. I honestly hadn’t done it yet, because I really didn’t think anybody would ask me any questions. I guess I still fear that might be the case. But hey, it can’t hurt to throw this out there and give it a try!
Once a month or every other month (depending on how many questions I receive), I’m going to do a “Coffee with Lydia” post. What will make these posts a little more interesting is that they will be vlogs. If you’re like me and said, “Vlog?! What, is that like a vicious blog or something?” then don’t feel alone. I didn’t know what a vlog was at first, either. A vlog is a video blog. No, I’m not going to turn my whole blog into a video blog. But, I thought it would be fun to occasionally do a video blog post.
“Coffee with Lydia” is our chance to sit down, chat, and casually have coffee together! I will, of course, have my mug of coffee (small or large, depending on the kind of morning I’m having) and will answer all of the questions I’ve received during that month. I’m going to do my best to not even really think about my answers ahead of time, so that you can get the raw me. It would truly be as if we were sitting down for coffee together, and you were asking questions.
You can ask me pretty much anything, within reason. They can be personal questions, broad ones, advice questions, etc. I love to talk, so there aren’t too many questions I’ll shy away from. Some ideas of what you could ask me about:
~ My life
~ Things I love
~ My experiences
~ Pregnancy loss
~ Military life
~ God and spiritual things
There pretty much isn’t anything excluded. Now, I say that with a grain of salt, of course. I do reserve the right to not answer a question that I might not feel comfortable responding to. If I get enough questions for this month, I will try to do the first “Coffee with Lydia” on May 30.
Anyway, with that said . . . go ahead and ask me! I promise I won’t bite.
You can email your questions to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave one in the comments below or connect with me on Facebook!
