Motherhood can sometimes be messy, bladder control issues included. But, none of that has to keep you from feeling beautiful each day. Keep these post-baby essentials on hand to help you maintain beauty and confidence all day long.
You know those nightmares you had when you were a teenager (okay, maybe even as an adult), when you were caught with your pants down and you were desperately scrambling to get pants on? Never in my life did I imagine I would experience something like that in real life.
I’m totally, 100%, scout’s honor serious!
If you were driving the highway between Arizona and California last month and saw the bare butt of an almost 30-year old woman on the side of the road, I confess, that was me. I can’t believe I’m actually telling this story, and I’m trying so hard to not guffaw at myself right now.

Please raise your hand if cleaning your dishes gets you a bit frustrated because all of your dish cleaning tools are kind of all over the place! Or, am I the only one? Yes? Poo! So, I guess I’m the only one who has daydreamed about a sink organizer that actually works then? You know, one that actually holds all of your stuff and doesn’t sit halfway in your sink or have suction cups that lose their suction three weeks later. Well, if you’re with me, you don’t have to daydream any longer because I have come up with the chicest rustic sink organizer that holds everything (including your dish soap), and I’m going to show you how to make it! I’m sad and nostalgic as I write this post, so bear with me. A couple week’s ago, I attended my first (and most likely last) Niche and Nail workshop. Okay, so, remember Jenn who did that rustic sign giveaway on my blog about 2 months ago? Well, not only does this woman make and sell her signs, but she also does workshops where you can make your own. How cool is that?! Instead of canvas painting, you paint rustic wood signs for your home. Not only that, you get to choose out of several options before the workshop. This is totally up my ally!
A couple weeks ago, I was invited to one of the workshops, and I was so excited to go! Seriously Continue reading →
Be sure to stick around, after the dining room table reveal, for the awesome giveaway!

If you had been following my Instagram months ago, then you saw that I was working on this long and arduous project. If you missed that, then perhaps you saw the reveal on my Facebook page. If you didn’t see that, you’ll get to see it here! Yay!
My husband and I have always wanted a large dining table. Since our family has grown quite a bit over the years, our old table just wasn’t fitting our needs, and we felt like a can of sardines at every meal. Thankfully we weren’t actually eating them. Yuck! (No offense to those who like sardines. Just not my cup of tea, er . . . fish.)
I’m going to start off this post with a disclaimer. The pictures I’m using in this post are indeed cell phone pics and others with horrible indoor lighting. To be honest, I was just downright lazy. But you know what? I don’t really care right now. I’m in a different season of my life at this point, juggling four kids, preparing for hubby’s upcoming deployment, still trying to get settled, learning our way around this new base, and so forth. Yeah, the pictures for this post just weren’t on the “must be perfect” list.
