Motherhood can sometimes be messy, bladder control issues included. But, none of that has to keep you from feeling beautiful each day. Keep these post-baby essentials on hand to help you maintain beauty and confidence all day long.
You know those nightmares you had when you were a teenager (okay, maybe even as an adult), when you were caught with your pants down and you were desperately scrambling to get pants on? Never in my life did I imagine I would experience something like that in real life.
I’m totally, 100%, scout’s honor serious!
If you were driving the highway between Arizona and California last month and saw the bare butt of an almost 30-year old woman on the side of the road, I confess, that was me. I can’t believe I’m actually telling this story, and I’m trying so hard to not guffaw at myself right now.
Okay, so I’ve been keeping it a secret on the blogging world too long. If you’ve been following my Instagram, then you know what I’m talking about.
Nearly three weeks ago, at exactly 36 weeks, we welcomed our baby girl into the wide open world! She is absolutely beautiful and amazing in every way! Please say hello to our little . . . Continue reading →
Now, everybody knows to just avoid asking the “Are you pregnant?” or “When are you due?” questions, as you might never know if the woman is actually pregnant. But, what about when a woman really is pregnant?

Well, we have had yet another eventful week. From Sunday into Monday, I experienced a severe headache and nausea that wouldn’t go away, even when I took a relatively large dose of Tylenol for the headache. I also spent most of Sunday night being awake with a racing heart and heart palpitations. At times, my resting heart rate was Continue reading →
Time has come and gone, and I haven’t done a blog post in about a week. Gah! I assure you that I haven’t forgotten about my blog. In fact, I’ve been itching to get on here and write something. Needless to say, life has been a little more than hectic around here. Baby girl has been continuing to give us scares. We ended up in the hospital two more times with contractions close together and intense. Once again, they had to stop the contractions both times. The most recent was this past Saturday. They kept us overnight, and it took a while before the contractions stopped. The doctors decided to go ahead and give me steroid shots for her lungs, in case she decides to come in the next two weeks, which is very plausible considering the rapid changes my body has been going through. This mommy is exhausted, but I’m thankful that baby girl is staying put and continuing to grow for now.
